- 1 / 5By A Google UserI tried to book my son's christening luncheon at Yardley Country Club - went there in person to check out all of the available rooms. I picked one, only to have the banquet coordinator - Diane Matthews - give the room away a few weeks later to a "bigger function". I found this out when I called to give her my final headcount.. she never bothered to call to tell me! I then asked for my 2nd choice, only to have tell me a few days later that THAT was now not available. This is all after I'd already had my invitations printed up. No sincere apology or effort to make ammends was made. I went back to the Yardley Inn where I've had every other function and had yet another great experience with them.February 24, 2017
